History:
She was only three when her parents divorced and the youngest of the children having two older brothers. Due to Garrick’s alcohol problems, their mother, Katherine, got the custody of their three children. She went to live with her lover Darren Wilson, whom she later married. Charlotte was young when this happened she didn’t understand why her father wasn’t living with them anymore. Her mother often told her that dad was away from a business trip but soon stop answering Charlotte all together when she moved Darren in. This is when Charlotte started to get anger issues even though it was such a young age to have these she just didn’t understand why these things happened.
Shortly after the split between her parents her brother Spencer received a letter from Hogwarts. It came as a shock to everyone in the family, they had never known that wizards existed but there was one living under their roof for eleven years. When Charlotte found out that her brother was going away for a new school she cried instantly, she didn’t want to lose him and being one to always show her emotions even at four years old. Crying came first then the tantrums because she couldn’t go with him. She thought her parents were punishing her by taking her brother away from her.
Later, it was Kevin who also went to Hogwarts. Charlotte being five now had more understanding than the three year old girl just a few years before. When Kevin and Spencer came back for the Holidays they all sat down and tried to explain to Charlotte why they were leaving home to go to a school no one had heard of before. At first Charlotte was happy that they got to go learn new things but then she was jealous, she wanted to have powers and a wand and be able to go away to a magic school. Her jealous lead to what her parents called the tantrum of a lifetime. Vases were broken along with mirrors and toys. Charlotte took blame for the toys but claims she didn’t touch the mirrors or vases. She just got really mad and they broke, she didn’t touch them.
When she went to primary school Charlotte often bragged to people about how her brothers were magical, are at a Hogwarts, and how she was going to go one day. This was when the bullying started, no one was going to believe a little girls story about wizards and magic schools. They thought she was making it up. Every afternoon she would come home crying and when her her grades started slipping her parents thought it was best to send her to a different school, one with less students to make fun of their baby girl.
She hated that school the only year she was there and dreading going back that summer. That school her parents placed her in was for what kids that had trouble learning not for kids that were being bullied. August came and as she was preparing for another dreadful year she received her Hogwarts letter just as her brothers did before. Charlotte was ecstatic, she knew that she was going to go all this time and now she could brag to everyone that she was a witch now and they would see she wasn’t making it up.
Her parents thought going to Hogwarts where her brothers were would change Charlotte for the better when they had changed schools her anger had only gotten worse and so did the crying. There would be many nights that her mom would come home to the house torn apart in a classic Charlotte rage. They prayed that Hogwarts would get rid of that rage.
The moment the sorting hat was placed on her head she hoped that she would be placed in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw to be like her brothers. Gryffindor it was just like Spencer. The first few days of school was began well as she was adjusting to learning new things. As the year went by and the less her brothers paid attention to Charlotte got jealous that they would choose their friends over her sister. She had her moment when her would point her wand at them and swear if they didn’t spend more time with them she would make them grow ugly boils all over their face. She never placed any spell on her brothers though, she decided to channel her jealous into other boys around the school to show her brothers she didn’t need them.
Year one: Everything was a blur, she had heard stories from her brothers about Hogwarts but it was still all a shock when she arrived, classes were a struggle because she was still taking in the shock of actually being a witch and everything she was seeing around the castle was real.
Year Two: Charlotte found her calling in Charms class. She excelled greatly at it despite her inability to focus somedays. This year she spent less time trying to be brave and more time making friends, Charlotte never really struggled at making friends, she was always a very open person so it was an easy task for her.
Years Three and Four: These two years were almost identical in the way things happened. Charlotte continued to make friends but her focus changed on boys more than friends of the same gender. IT was like an overnight change, like someone had flipped a switch in her head that made her obsessed with boys. If she wasn’t in class trying to focus on learning something she would be putting homework aside to try and get some cute older boys attention. Her family was concerned for her at this point, thinking she had gone crazy but her mom knew it was a phase Charlotte would hopefully grow out of sooner rather than later.

"The beach was Charlotte’s second favorite place to be. Balthazar's arms being the first. They had spent little time with each other for the past few days and she didn’t really know why. Normally they were inseparable. Strolling down the corridors hand in hand or snogging on the couch in the common room much to the dislike of their other housemates. This week was different though, whenever they were round each other he seemed distracted. Like his mind was on something else, something more important than her. Charlie had gotten over the phase where she always had to be the center of attention, she knew that she could be at moments but never forever.
A letter that landed on her bed a week ago making her nervous. The beach was their place. It was where she fell in love but she didn’t have a good feeling in the pit of her stomach when it landed. For a while she thought she was over reacting, nothing bad was going to happen. It couldn’t, not at the beach. She didn’t bring up the letter when she saw him in the corridor, if it was bad she didn’t want to make a scene. Charlotte was trying to keep those to the privacy of her own dorm when they were needed. Instead she stayed silent and let her own worry consume her.
Her emotions weren’t the only ones consuming her. Bally was nervous. It was obvious he was. Every moment she stood next to him she could tell. Charlie would be able to tell even if she wasn’t an Empath. He lacked eye contact on some occasions that was the biggest giveaway but his nerves only made hers grow worse. It got to the point where she tried to avoid him for a few hours just to keep herself calm. Charlotte was clueless on what was going to happen on the beach but she prepared herself for the worst.
Blue waters washed on the shore and the foam covered the blonde’s feet. She loved the feel of the wet sand between her toes. Balthazar was no where to be found at the moment. Charlotte tried not to get to worked up over that. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breathe in and soaked in the smell of the saltwater and the sounds of the waves crashing against each other. She was calm, a calm that only the rushing water could provide. Opening her eyes slowly she looked out across the water. It was vacant for the moment so was the sand.
Meeting at a vacant spot was probably for the best. If they were going to breakup it would be easier this way. No one would be able to see her cry and no one would see the scene she knew she would cause. Thinking about it made her eyes well up with tears. She had no reason to start crying now. Charlie didn’t know if that was actually going to happen but it seemed more likely than anything else. The beach would now be her most hated place to be.
His voice made her jump and she quickly wiped away the trace amounts of tears that lingered in her eyes. One her blue eyes met his her worries disappeared for just a moment. Charlotte’s lips cracked a smile at his compliment, she would never get used to them no matter how many times he called her beautiful. She shook her head no briefly before his lips collided with hers. She welcomed the kiss eagerly and while putting her arms around his neck. Charlie pulled away slowly and placed her head against his forehead. “I was starting to worry you were gonna leave me here.” She said trying to make her worries less obvious than she knew they were.
